I feel a DIY project coming on.
Love anything Isabel Marant touches, but this little hoodie feels just right. And I kind of like the idea of creating something myself rather than buying into the retail machine all the time.

shine free.
My new cannot-leave-the-house-without essential. A men’s lip balm that is gloss free, nourishing and smells like heavenly blackcurrants.
The perfect antidote to punchy pouts that I seem to have been sporting for months.

Oh Venice. Just as I was convinced that minimal, fine jewelry was my thing you come along with these babies.
Dangly and light yet sure to turn heads, I can safely say I would find a way to don these daily…with jeans and a tee or with a gown equally entrancing.

Love makes us all do crazy things. But sometimes it’s worth it just for these singular irreplaceable moments, that always seem to slip through our fingers too fast.

slip of a thing.
Dainty, silky and delicate. The best qualities for any incarnation of lingerie. But Araks manages to fashion the most wearable pieces that feel oh so feminine and barely there.

sublime.
Looking back always seems the best inspiration when looking forward.
Be it Jane, Brigitte or Edie, there’s just no way a modern woman can match up. We’re just too preoccupied with everything that’s going on around us and don’t have enough time to just let things fall into place.
I’ll be headed back to Europe in October and can’t wait to take on board a...

Last week I spotted the most fabulous 50 year old woman sporting a pair of well worn, rolled up and half slung denim overalls. They were the long variety and teamed with a white linen button through and despite all odds, she was beyond chic.
See, sometimes the most unassuming of things, like a pair of overalls which generally remind me of my kindergarten days, can be converted into sartorial...

This is the one. The fragrance that feel oh so right and years later still remains my favourite.
Byredo always creates something unique but Gypsy Rose is such an intoxicating mix of creamy lemon pie, fresh soil and sandalwood that I’m totally sold for life.

So beyond tempted. If only I had found a hairdresser I trust here in Mexico. The moment I do this will be happening. You only live once right?
french revolution.
I think it’s almost inevitable that I wind up living in France at some point.
There’s something about the women, the food, the art…it’s just the epitome of refined chic without trying to hard. And to be honest I don’t think it’s something that anyone can learn without spending a chunk of time immersed in that world.
So whilst it’s definitely...

Ohhhhhhhhh. This is just too much.
Such clean lines and simply the best accessories. Looks that you could slip on for practically any occasion.
One day my life will be perfect and I will wear The Row everywhere.

final touches.
Off the radar for far too long.
In the haze of furnishing our wonderful new apartment and simultaneously losing my mind and having a blast. Who knew choosing wood grains and paint samples could be so fun.
And as each of the finishing details falls into place, our little corner of the world feels a little more like home.

Stripes. Simply the best print and my daily staple. Easy enough to pair with anything and always chic in that french girl kind of way.
